THE BYRON HINTERLAND AND IT'S SURROUNDS offers a rich diversity of experiences that cater for all tastes and styles. A leisurely drive along the meandering, hinterland roads is a perfect way to experience the area, with most of the local attractions being only a short drive from EarthHouse (refer to map).
For the food lover, the region has an eclectic mix of gastronomical gems. For the active, we have some of Australia's best surf beaches on our doorstep. There is also a large number of local art galleries, farmer’s and craft markets, antique shops, yoga and natural therapy specialists, day spa’s, and golf courses – all located within a 25 minute drive. For the more adventurous guest, you can hang glide, sky dive or hot air balloon.
